‘Collected Wisdom’ Have Trouble Centering?

April 2013

Take a small spirit level that fits within the splash tray of your wheel. Lay it across the wheelhead in various directions and make sure it is level at all times. If not, adjust the legs of wheel (if adjustable type), or pack underneath the feet to correct level.

Still having trouble centering?

Take a piece of board, say, 30cm x 12cm × 1-2cms, and holding firmly at both ends and arms braced on your knees, slowly and evenly push board toward centre of wheel, keeping the lower edge on wheelhead. Try it - it makes a huge difference.
