What is Wild Clay?

Wild Clay is clay that has been sourced from the environment and not produced by a clay production company. It can consist of all manner of materials and matter and requires a lot of refinement and testing to prove its worth as a clay body. Due to the unpredictable nature of wild clay the club doesn’t allow its use, particularly in the firing process where it can cause problems [possible explosions] and affect other potter’s items.
