Beginner Wheel Throwing Workshop – 2-Part Weekend Series

Ever wanted to try your hand at the pottery wheel?
This two-part beginner workshop is the perfect way to dive in — no experience needed!
Satuurday - 18/10/25 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Sunday - 19/10/25 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm

Cost per person: $240

Session 1 (Saturday)
will focus on throwing on the wheel. We'll begin with a full demonstration, guiding you through each step of the process. You'll
then get the chance to create your own pieces, with plenty of guidance and one-on-one help available throughout.

Session 2 (Sunday)
is all about trimming. You'll return to refine the pieces you made the day before, shaping them into functional forms. The session will start with a demo and you'll be supported throughout as you work on your pieces.

Once your pieces are finished, they’ll be bisque fired, clear glazed, and glaze fired. You’ll be notified when they’re ready to collect — typically within 3 to 4 weeks of the workshop.

Important Information:
Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can begin on time.

Clay and tools will be provided.

What to wear:
● Covered shoes are essential
● No loose sleeves
● Long hair must be tied back
● Long nails are not recommended as they can make throwing difficult

** Snacks and additional clay available for purchase
